I arrived in Spain yesterday morning. Flew into Madrid and then caught a connecting flight to Seville. I am here to speak at the Spanish Swim Coaches Conference this weekend. I am very excited to be here. Spain is a country I have always wanted to visit. I studied spanish history as part of my major in college so I am looking forward to visiting some of the historical sites in and around Seville. I am going to have get used to eating dinner after nine at night. I am usually in bed and asleep by that time. I am looking forward to the visit and the oportunity to share ideas and learn from the coaches here. I will be giving two presentations and a practical hands on "learn by doing" session. I will be speaking on Dryland Training - From Concept to Implementation and Coaching That Matters - Lessons on the art and science of coaching for optimal performance. Unfortunately the visit will be much too short as I return to the US on Monday, but now that I have seen Spain I very motivated to return.
